Officeworks x Close the Loop Recycling Pop- Up Day
For over 20 years, Close the Loop have partnered with Officeworks and Planet Ark for the collection and recovery of printer cartridges and toner, saving millions of products from landfill and turning them into valuable resources.
Close the Loop is collaborating with Officeworks for their People and Planet Positive Recycling Pop-Up Day. This event, sponsored by Brother International Australia, will be held at Officeworks Highett in our local community on Saturday, September 7th, from 10 AM to 5 PM
We’ll be taking used tech and batteries from visitors, in order to safely process and recycle them while keeping these important, finite materials out of landfill. We’ll be answering all your questions about the recycling process, and providing insights into where materials go once they’ve been collected by Close the Loop and why battery safety in particular is so important.
On display we will have examples of tech and battery materials that have been through the recycling process for visitors to see first-hand, including flaked plastics, metals, and our innovative TonerPlas product made from recycled toner powder and soft plastics.
What’s Accepted?
Victors will be able to drop-off a wide range of used tech and battery items for safe and free recycling, including the below:

Close the Loop offers you peace of mind through secure data handling, data erasure, auditing and strict compliance with Australian standards for data protection.
We recommend you erase all data and/or back-up important information prior to dropping products off for recycling.
