Recycled Felt Tip Pens
The inkjet cartridge recycling process starts with sorting the cartridges by predominant plastic type and ink chemistry. The cartridges are fed into a large green machine, which shreds and crushes whole cartridges and then spins the resultant material in a high speed centrifuge to separate the ink. The solid materials progress through a series of size reduction and materials separation stages to produce a relatively clean plastic stream. The ink and plastic are further refined to exacting specifications for reuse in the felt tip pen manufacturing process. Considerable engineering effort has been put into matching the ink with the reservoir material and nib. The nib is manufactured by a specialist Japanese company, expert in their craft. The recycled felt tip pens are over 90% recycled content by weight. The only component not made from predominantly post consumer recycled materials is the nib. The 'Enviroliner TM' range of recycled content felt tip pens now include a 0.3mm and 0.8mm nib versions and come in 2 UP packs, boxes of 10, or boxes of 40. All packaging is made from recycled board which is fully recyclable, as are the pens themselves. The Enviroliner Recycled Felt Tip pen can be ordered plain or can be custom printed with your logo and design. Download the Penloop Pricelist and Order Form |
